    With all the talk about Listers Health’s amazing growth in services and facilities for you ladies at our Gym over the past few months, we’ve been hard at work to see what our members currently love about their Ladies Only Gym in Bradford.

    We surveyed 5 active Ladies at our ladies only Gym in Bradford who were all ecstatic to let us know how they felt about their Gym. And, very kindly they gave us permission to reproduce their responses for you to see, too! :)

    How has Lister Health benefited you? I have no complaints; I like all the facilities but I have only been here a week.

    What improvements have you seen/felt? It is a bit soon to say but I my muscles no longer ache, so I think I am building up a tolerance to working out.

    Do you attend any of the classes? I have not attended any classes yet but I may do in the future.

    What TWO things do you like most about Lister Health? I like the friendly atmosphere; it is really welcoming I also like the quality of the facilities.

    What are your health goals? To increase my overall well-being, to lose weight and to be fit.

    When did you join? I joined last week.

    How often do you attend the Gym? So far I have been 3 times in a week.

    How has Lister Health benefited you? Quite a lot, I was quite big and went through some hardship while recently having a baby. I was quite depressed and coming here has helped me get out of my depressive stage. It has helped me a lot.

    What Improvements have you seen/felt? I have not only had physical improvements but also mental improvements, now I feel like I can go out and feel like I am doing something positive with my life.

    Do you attend any of the classes? I don’t go to the classes yet as my personal trainer is building me up to that but I would like to go to the spinning class in the future.

    What 2 things do you like about Lister Health? The friendly people and obviously the equipment, and the music.

    What are your health goals? Well, I used to be a size 6 and I would like to go back to being a size 6, as I am now borderline diabetic.

    When did you join? I joined about a month ago.

    Why do you attend Lister Health over any other Gym? Because I am Muslim, and it is for women. And I happen to live pretty close. I have tried a few other Gyms but Lister Health has been the friendliest.

    How often do you attend the Gym? I try and attend every second day, I have a 9-month old baby so it is hard to juggle.

    How has Lister Health benefited you? I have made new friends, and I like to chat and exercise, the Gym has kept me busy.

    What Improvements have you seen/felt? I am less stressed since joining the Gym.

    Do you attend any of the classes? Yes, I attend the spin class and the Abs Blast class.

    What top 2 things do you like about Lister Health? I like the facilities and the friendly staff.

    What are your health goals? Just to tone up, I am happy with my weight.

    Why do you choose to attend Lister Health over any other Gym? I am originally from Blackburn so I didn’t know where to look but my friend recommended Lister Health and the fact it was ladies only is why I chose to come here.

    When did you join the Gym? I joined the Gym in February.

    How often do you attend the Gym? It depends. Sometimes I attend the Gym every day, sometimes I attend once a month.

    How has Lister Health benefited you? By keeping fit, feeling good and the diet plan I have been given has helped me a lot.

    What Improvements have you seen/felt? I feel good and feel less stress since attending the Gym.

    Do you attend any of the classes? Yes, I attend spin, boxercise and the legs bums and tums class.

    What top 2 things do you like about Lister Health? The people are really friendly, I have moved Gyms a lot but I have stayed here a good while because I really enjoy the classes and the atmosphere.

    What are your health goals? Mainly to keep fit and lose a little weight too.

    When did you join the Gym? I Joined 2 years ago.

    How often do you attend the Gym? I attend 5 times a week.

    How has Lister Health benefited you? I have only recently joined but I am already starting to see changes and have been given a lot of compliments recently.

    What Improvements have you seen/felt? I am now more aware of food and what I put into my body, I find myself reading labels more and researching before I eat certain foods.

    Do you attend any of the classes? Not yet, but I was just on my way to picking up a timetable for the classes, which I will do after this.

    What top 2 things do you like about Lister Health? The Gym is really friendly and the facilities are good.

    What are your health goals? My health goals are to lose some weight and to be healthy.

    Why attend Listers Health over any other Gym? The Gym is close to home for me and the fact it is a women’s only Gym is why I chose Lister Health.

    When did you join the Gym? I joined a week ago.

    How often do you attend the Gym? I have been every day since I joined.
